Doubles, Aggressive Baserunning Key Raiders 11-1 Victory Over Northboro, in Six

Worcester, MA --- Veteran Joe Consolmagno batted 3-for-4 with four RBI, a 3-run double and a run scored to go along with a stolen
base and rookie
Pat Gallagher sent everyone home early as he drove an RBI double to right center to help lead East Side Post 201 to it's
seventh win in-a-row with a 11-1 triumph over Northboro Post 234 in six innings on Friday afternoon in an American Legion Zone 4
baseball matchup at Tivnan Field at Lake Park.
Zach Zona (2-1, 1.07 ERA) allowed one run - zero earned - on four hits and struck out
three in his second complete game win of the season.

East Side, who has played the most games in the zone to date, now sits at 7-3 overall and 7-2 in First 13 games while Northboro is now 1-4
on the season and in First 13 play.

Regan Aghdam had a productive 2-for-3 day with a pair of RBI and a run scored as he and Tim Brutto (2-for-4, RBI, run) joined
Consolmagno in the multiple-hit club.
Brandon O'Connor (1-for-2) walked twice and swiped three bags and crossed home plate four
times for Post 201 while
Cam Frederick scored twice.

For the game, East Side recorded four doubles (Consolmagno, O'Connor, Aghdam and Gallagher) and six stolen bases (Consolmagno,
O'Connor (two),
Nate Frederick (two) and Cam Frederick).

Mike Stamas (2-for-3) led Northboro with two of the team's four hits as Owen Shea and John Stanton each had one. Matt Doyle
absorbed the loss and was relieved by
Chris Alves after four and a third.

With two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the first, Aghdam dropped a 2-RBI single into right field for the early 2-0 lead. In
the home half of the second, Consolmagno pushed Frederick home on a hit up the middle in the second. Post 201 then took the 4-0
advantage in the third as Nate Frederick singled through the left side to drive in O'Connor, who was on third courtesy of a passed ball.

Northboro broke up the shutout in the top of the fourth when Alves scampered home on a wild pitch.

Post 201 exploded for six runs in the fifth beginning with a
Jack Riley RBI knock down the left field line. Peter Bovenzi followed with
an RBI ground out to make it 6-1 in favor of the Raiders. Brutto plated Aghdam on a single to short to set the stage for a 3-run double to
center field by Consolmagno.

O'Connor and Aghdam each doubled and were on second and third with two outs in the bottom of the sixth. Gallagher then connected on
his game-ending RBI double in his first American Legion at-bat.

East Side returns to the diamond on Sunday with a trip to Northbridge. First pitch is slated for 2pm. Northboro is at Northbridge
tomorrow at 2pm.
