Resilient Raiders Top Northbridge, 11-5

Worcester, MA --- Jono Crimmin batted 2-for-4 with three RBI and Joe Consolmango drove in three via a pinch hit double as East
Side Post 201 ran its winning streak to six games following an 11-5 triumph over visiting Northbridge Post 343 in a regular season
American Legion Baseball Zone 4 matchup at Tivnan Field at Lake Park. The Raiders (15-4) improve to 14-4 in zone play while
Northbridge dips to 11-6 on the year.

Ben O'Donnell was a home run shy of a cycle as he paced all batters with a 3-for-3 day to go along with a walk and three runs scored.

Post 343 dented the scoreboard twice in the third for its first lead of the game as O'Donnell and
Jake Ryan crossed home plate following a
miscue on a ball put into play by
Tom Paine. East Side tied the game in the bottom of the fourth when Crimmin drove a two-RBI single to
center field.

O'Donnell began the fifth by dropping a triple down the right field line. A wild pitch during
Koby Schofer's at-bat enabled the
O'Donnell to score. Schofer then plated Paine on an infield single as Northbridge claimed a 4-2 advantage.

In the bottom of the fifth,
Peter Bovenzi connected on an RBI single to center and Jonathan Gonzalez pushed a seeing-eye single
through the right side as the Raiders tied the game at 4-4. East Side added two more runs courtesy of a wild pitch coupled with a
throwing miscue for the first Post 201 lead of the night.

East Side pushed five more runs across in the sixth.
Regan Aghdam drew a bases loaded walk and Consolmagno followed with a
bases-clearing double to center field. Crimmin capped the outburst with a run-producing knock to center.

O'Donnell reached on a leadoff double in the seventh and eventually scored on an RBI ground out by Paine before a foul out and another
grounder ended the game.

Aghdam began the game on the mound for the Raiders and allowed two runs - zero earned - on two hits with four strikeouts and one walk
over three innings.
Cam Frederick surrendered two runs on two hits with three Ks and two walks in three frames en route to his third
relief win of the season.
Steve Albert yielded one run on two hits in the seventh,

Brian Carroll absorbed the loss despite not allowing an earned run. Corey Giguere, Ryan and Carroll combined to fan seven batters.

East Side will head to North County on
Tuesday for a 5:30 regular season game. The rescheduled game will be the final tuneup before the
National Bound State Tournament game on Thursday at 9:30am at Holy Cross. Northbridge ventures to Shrewsbury on Tuesday for a 5:30
