Post 201 Splits With North County to Begin 2015 Campaign

Worcester, MA --- East Side finally kicked off the 2015 season on Monday with great pitching
in both games of a doubleheader with visiting North County but only managed a split at the
hitting only exceled in the opener.  The Raiders tallied 15 hits in the opener including three
from Jonathan Gonzalez (3-for-5, HR, 5 RBI) en route to a 12-1 victory. Mariano Ricciardi,
PJ Barry, Pat Gallagher and Sean Murphy were also repeat hitters for Post 201, who received six
strong innings from starter Matt Demma (1 ER, 6K) and a shutout seventh from Nick Cardillo.
The bats were stymied in the night cap as Post 129ís Matt Seward tossed a 3-hit shutout in a
1-0 contest.  Raider pitchers Dario Tarquinio (3.1 IP) Dylan Fenuccio (2.2 IP) did not allow an
earned run in the tough-luck loss.
